Elijah's parents abandoned him, leaving him in the care of a relative who was unable to provide for him. The relative sought assistance from the local authorities, who then referred Elijah to Watoto after evaluating his circumstances. Following his warm welcome into a comfortable Watoto home, Elijah has been cared for and loved by a devoted Watoto mother who continues to nurture him into a responsible young man.
Elijah loves family time, where they play and help with house chores together. He’s thankful for the care his Watoto mother gives him and his Watoto siblings. Elijah enjoys yummy meals like Matooke and eggplants. At school, he is learning lots of English, and after school, he practices basketball on the court with his friends. One day, he dreams of being a pilot.
Elijah loves Sundays because he looks forward to attending Watoto Church. He enjoys the lively music and loves listening to the facilitators as they teach God’s Word. Join us as we pray for Elijah to always walk in the ways of our Lord, Jesus. Thank you for your kind financial support, which is helping Watoto to provide for all that Elijah needs to grow into a responsible adult and a godly leader.
