Thandiwe, meaning Beloved, was found abandoned just after his birth. The local authorities then brought him to Baby Watoto, where loving nannies cared for him. Receiving all the care he deserved, Thandiwe met his growth milestones and blossomed into a lovely toddler. Later, when he was old enough, he joined a warm Watoto home with a caring Watoto mother and siblings, who are now his family.

Thandiwe is a quiet and kind boy who loves hanging around his Watoto mother. His favourite task is picking leaves in the compound with his siblings, and he always does it with a smile. He enjoys eating plantain and groundnut stew, which makes him very happy. Thandiwe is also very excited about school. He listens carefully to his teachers and loves learning new things. When he is not studying, he enjoys playing on the swings and having fun with colourful toys.

On Sundays, Thandiwe goes to Watoto Church with his friends, alongside his Watoto mother. He is part of the Amazing Class for children aged 2-4 years.
