Venisha lost her mother at birth and was lovingly cared for by her frail grandmother, who, despite limited resources, did her best to provide for her. Recognising the need for additional support, local authorities, on behalf of her grandmother, reached out to Watoto. Venisha was welcomed into Baby Watoto, where she found a warm, nurturing environment. Surrounded by compassionate nannies, she received the love, care, and resources essential for her to grow and thrive.

Venisha has now joyfully joined her new Watoto family in one of the Watoto villages, where she has a loving Watoto mother and playful Watoto siblings. She delights in imaginative play, often pretending to cook and caring for her baby dolls. Her favourite colour is yellow, which reflects her vibrant spirit. She enjoys her favourite dish of brown rice, beans, and liver.

Every Sunday, Venisha excitedly attends the children's service at Watoto Church, where she delights in Bible stories, singing and dancing. We pray she continues to grow in wisdom and faith.
