Naomi was found abandoned in front of a shop shortly after her birth. Concerned community members immediately contacted the local authorities, alerting them about the case. Despite the local authorities’ efforts to trace her family, no relatives were found. The authorities reached out to Watoto, and Naomi was welcomed into our care. She was brought to Baby Watoto, where she received the love, attention, and nurturing she needed. Thanks to the dedicated care from her caregivers, Naomi grew into a healthy and vibrant young girl.
Today, Naomi lives in a warm and spacious Watoto Village. She has a Watoto family of wonderful Watoto children and a caring Watoto mother who looks after them. These children have become her brothers and sisters. Naomi enjoys picking up leaves from the compound. She attends the Watoto School, where she especially loves listening to stories told by her teachers. In her free time, she enjoys playing on the swings.
Every Sunday, Naomi fellowships at the Watoto Church with her family and eagerly listens to Bible stories. We pray that Naomi will continue to grow in love, wisdom, and in the fear of the Lord. Thank you for your generosity. You are making a difference in the life of one of Africa’s future leaders.
