Shortly after Joshua was born, his mother passed away, leaving him in the care of his ailing father, who was unable to look after him. Recognising his limitations, the father reached out to local authorities for help. Watoto was contacted and lovingly welcomed Joshua into their care. He was placed at Baby Watoto, where he received the nurturing and attention he needed to grow into a healthy and energetic young boy.

Joshua has since graduated to a Watoto Village, where he now lives in a warm and spacious home with other precious Watoto children and a loving Watoto mother. Joshua enjoys helping his Watoto mother keep the house organised, especially arranging shoes neatly. He attends the Watoto School, where his favourite activity is painting with bright colours. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and having fun on the swings.

On Sundays, Joshua attends Watoto Church with his family. He loves singing in Sunday School and listening to Bible stories from his teachers. His attentiveness often earns him rewards.
