Nasifa was rescued by a kind-hearted Samaritan after being found in a vulnerable state. Her mentally ill mother had been dragging her around the town streets. The incident was quickly reported to the local authorities, who referred Nasifa to Watoto. She was warmly welcomed into a Watoto village, where she now lives in a safe and loving home, surrounded by other precious children and cared for by a devoted Watoto mother. 

Since her arrival, Nasifa has steadily adjusted to her new environment. She now attends a Watoto School, where she has discovered a love for drawing and painting. She enjoys playing with dolls and her favourite meal is rice and chicken. At home, she delights in helping her Watoto mother with simple tasks like organising the house.

Every Sunday, Nasifa attends Watoto Church with her Watoto family, where she is lovingly nurtured in the knowledge of Christ. At Children’s church, she listens eagerly to Bible stories shared by her facilitators and is beginning to learn more about Jesus. Thank you for your generosity.
