Jorine is from Central Uganda. Her parents separated before she was born, and so she lives with her mother. Her mother struggled to make ends meet with the little she earned from quarrying. Because of this, she was unable to send Jorine to school. Having been identified and enrolled into the Watoto Neighbourhood program, Jorine is now attending a Watoto School at no cost. Her mother is also being mentored and trained in practical skills that she can use to generate better income.

Jorine is catching up with her studies and says that she would like to be the best doctor in Uganda someday. She enjoys Science lessons the most and loves to play hide and seek with her friends in her free time. She stays in a Watoto home during the school period and joins her family during the holidays. She loves the color yellow, and her favorite dish is Irish potatoes and chicken.

On Sundays, Jorine worships at the Watoto Church and is taught about Jesus' amazing love for her. Your prayers and financial support allow Watoto to give Jorine the opportunity to reach her God-given potential. Thank you!
