Jalia’s parents separated making her mother the sole provider for her family. Jalia’s mother was not able to meet Jalia’s basic needs including paying school fees so that she could attend school regularly. After Watoto Child Care Ministries learned of this, Jalia was given an opportunity to go to school at no cost.

Jalia is now going to a good school in the local community where she can pursue her dreams. She receives a healthy meal daily and all her basic needs are provided for. Jalia would love to be a doctor in future. She enjoys colouring pictures, playing dodge ball and her favorite colour is white.
