Layla was found abandoned and rescued by local authorities. When the authorities realized that there was no one available to take care of Layla, they requested the help of Watoto Child Care Ministries. Layla was enrolled into Baby Watoto where she flourished under the care of loving nannies. She has grown into a happy little girl and has been moved into a home in Watoto Village.

Layla has been warmly welcomed in her new home by her loving family. She has a loving housemother to nurture her with healthy meals daily and devoted affection. Layla is a bright independent girl; she loves exploring the outdoors most and playing with her friends. Her best colour is blue and her favourite food is Irish potatoes.
