Chris’ mother has a mental disability and cannot adequately take care of a child. Concerned community members with the help of the authorities requested Watoto Child Care Ministries to take Chris under their wings. Chris was warmly welcomed into the Baby Watoto Home in Gulu where, with the help of a dedicated group of nannies who cared for him, he grew into a strong and healthy little boy.

In 2016, Chris was transferred into a Watoto Village, where a devoted housemother and Watoto brothers and sisters made him feel welcome in the home. Chris’ housemother showers him with love and care, giving him all the attention he needs. When Chris is a little older, he will attend the Watoto Schools where he can study until graduation from high school.

On Sundays, Mama takes Chris to the Watoto Church, where he is learning about Jesus’ love for him. Please pray for Chris to receive the Lord into his heart when he reaches the age of understanding.
