Ibra's mother left him outside a house in one of the Watoto Villages and never returned. A lady serving as a housemother in the Village came to Ibra's rescue and took him to the local authorities in charge of the area. Watoto Child Care Ministries was requested to take Ibra into their fold.

Ibra was brought to a welcoming Watoto Village where a loving housemother warmly welcomed him into her home. Ibra is surrounded by Watoto brothers and sisters who love and care for him. He has grown fond of them. Ibra is receiving a quality education at the Watoto School where he will study until he graduates from high school.

On Sundays Ibra is accompanies his mother to the Watoto Church where he is learning about the love of Jesus in Sunday school. Please pray for Ibra to grow to love the Lord more each day and that when he reaches the age of understanding he will receive Jesus into his heart.
